Part-Time Logistics and Operations Associate

Role Overview:
We are looking for a part-time associate (ideally a master’s student with some industry experience) to support us in developing and implementing key operational processes. This role is crucial in setting up a strong foundation for our logistics operations, ensuring that our customer delivery, tracking, and overall service execution are efficient and well-structured.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Development & Optimization: Design and document customer delivery processes, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and on-time deliveries.
2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear and structured SOPs for key business functions, including dispatch, tracking, customer service, and returns management.
3. Technology & Tools: Research and recommend logistics software, tracking systems, and automation tools to enhance service quality.
4. Quality Assurance: Establish best practices for service reliability, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
5. Customer Experience: Design a framework for customer engagement, feedback collection, and service improvement strategies.
6. Cost Efficiency & Scalability: Analyze operational costs and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and profitability.
Who You Are:
1. A master’s student in supply chain management, logistics, business operations, or a related field.
2. Has 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or operations management.
3. Strong process development and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of logistics software and tracking systems is a plus.
5. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to execution.
6. Able to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with the leadership team.
