We are looking for forward-thinking, dynamic team players who are HCPC registered. You should have the ability to work within a MDT and manage an independent caseload of sometimes complex patients. To be able to assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver treatment programs to patients in your care. Our lively multi-disciplinary department is committed to providing excellent patient-focused care. Within each rotation, you will be supported closely by a multi-disciplinary team allowing you to develop clinical knowledge and skills. We are committed to CPD and provide tailored IST programmes, an active peer support group, and regular appraisals. The post will include on-calls once competent and weekend working. Our 4 monthly rotations include:
1. Trauma Orthopaedics
2. Acute Respiratory
3. Medicine for Older People
4. Musculoskeletal Outpatients
5. Critical Care and Surgery
Main duties of the job:
* To competently assess patients, identify problems, and agree on treatment objectives with the patient.
* To clinically reason, plan, and carry out appropriate treatment programmes and techniques using evidence-based practice, and identify safe and timely discharge plans.
* To plan and prioritise your workload according to clinical need, and discuss relevant issues as required with a senior member of staff.
* To participate in the on-call and weekend working as appropriate.
* To understand the roles and work with the wider MDT.
* To maintain confidentiality, dignity, and professionalism at all times.
* Have excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the MDT.
* Maintain a high standard of documentation.
* To work well as part of a therapy team and the wider MDT.
