Teaching Personnel is currently collaborating with a well-established mainstream secondary school in Poole, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The position is available for an immediate start or after Easter, depending on your availability. Should you thrive in this role, there is potential for the position to become permanent. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students aged 11-16, both 1:1 and in small groups. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and time management. Encouraging students' academic and personal growth. Providing support for students’ physical, social, and emotional well-being. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working in an educational setting. Confidence working with children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Professionalism, reliability, and strong time management skills. Passion for supporting children’s academic and emotional needs. A solid understanding of the secondary Maths and English curriculum. Enthusiasm, calmness, and motivation to make a positive impact.
