This is a modern, purpose-built clinic and is fully equipped to industry-leading standards, with state-of-the-art technology including a full operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house Idexx lab, and endoscopy. They serve a diverse client base, offering first-opinion consultations as well as orthopedic surgeries, and pride themselves on being friendly and having a progressive approach to animal care.
Led by a Partner and Veterinary Surgeon with a background in rescue and a strong interest in orthopaedics, this close-knit team includes 4½ vets, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. The location provides convenient travel links to the town center and easy access to the M1 and M25.
They are searching for a Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a current RCVS registration, who is dedicated to exceptional animal care and has a compassionate, team-focused approach.
Ideal candidates will have:
* A strong passion for animal welfare and delivering outstanding patient care.
* Excellent communication skills and empathy for both animals and clients.
* Confidence in handling animals and performing routine nursing duties.
* A willingness to grow through CPD opportunities.
* Interest in areas like clinical coaching and/or orthopaedics would be a bonus!
• Salary: From £28,000 upwards (DOE/full-time equivalent)
• Hours: Flexible full or part-time (Full-time: 40hrs/week, Part-time: 25-30hrs/week); 1 in 3 weekends required, no OOHs.
• Holidays: 5.6 weeks, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 2 years, plus an extra day off for your birthday.
