Job summary A critical role within the Facilities and Office Solutions CMSP (Category Management Service Provider) directorate, in supporting the Head of Governance and Performance to ensure compliance to the NHS Supply Chain contract requirements. The Business Performance Specialist will manage, contribute and track monthly cyclical reports dispatched by NHS Supply Chain and use trend analysis to help identify areas for improvement and development. The Business Performance Specialist will be responsible for supporting the execution of the formal supplier relationship management program by assisting in governance, performance tracking, risk management and supplier engagement to ensure strong sustainable supplier partnerships Main duties of the job Working alongside the Head of Governance and Performance in conjunction with the CMSP Director, Associate Director of Governance, Performance and Sustainability, Associate Director of Procurement, and the Head of Implementation and Adoption, the Business Performance Specialist will use and interrogate performance related data to inform the team of areas to be improved and developed and investigate data anomalies to identify root causes, ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights for business improvements. The Business Performance Specialist will provide intelligent analysis of a range of data, spotting trends and linking to client KPIs to drive performance improvements, enhance decision making and support strategic objectives.
