Hours (Monday to Thursday) : Breakfast Club: 07.30 - 10.00 After School Club: 14.00 - 18.00
Hours (Friday) : Office: 9:30 - 12:30 After School Club: 14.00 - 18.00
The ideal candidate for the role of Care Manager will be confident, friendly, and well organised. You should be energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate, with a natural ability to connect with children and lead a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all activities at the club, ensuring alignment with Activity Operating Procedures (AOPs) and inspiring the team to provide a high-quality programme of activities that engage and motivate children.
* Coordinate the safe, appropriate, and timely set-up and pack-up of activities on camp, ensuring all procedures set out by Activ Camps Ltd are followed by the team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
* Oversee the storage, organisation, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring resources are well cared for, organised, and available for use, while supporting staff in managing these responsibilities.
* Supervise and support the preparation of food, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in all facilities and that the team maintains a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children at the club, acting as the designated safeguarding lead to handle concerns swiftly and appropriately, in line with relevant policies and procedures.
Essential Attributes
* 18 years or older and have the right to work in the UK.
* Experience in sports, coaching, or managing children's events/activities.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS Check for the Children's Workforce.
* Hold a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.
* Hold a Level 1 or 2 Food Safety and Handling certificate
