Sales administration, administration, import, export, manufacturing Role:My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their West Auckland based team. Reporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with both the Sales and Operations teams, you will be responsible for providing an excellent standard of service to their customers, ensuring their enquiries are handled efficiently, and maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Handle emails and incoming phone calls from clients.
* Manage the entire order-to-cash process, including:
* Order processing
* Follow-up on production schedules and managing possible delays
* Organising transport (local, EU & exportation) and providing necessary shipping documentation (packing slip, CMR, bill of lading, customs declaration, etc.)
* Act as the link between the Planning and Quality departments for information regarding delivery and return of goods, and handle customer complaints.
* Manage samples.
* Process invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
* Serve as the internal contact point for outside sales representatives, assisting with commercial offers, stock levels, order status, pricing, etc.
Skills/Experience:
* Experience in a customer service role or as an Inside Sales representative; logistics experience is an asset.
* Prior experience with import/export activities.
* Familiarity with MS Office and SAP (or similar ERP).
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills.
* Team player; flexible and highly accurate.
* Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
