The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Analyst (f/m/d) to join the team in Dunboyne, Meath! In this role, you will be the single point of contact for inventory, consumption and production forecast analytics.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00, 3-4 days at the customer site, 1-2 days from home
The team
Together with your colleagues, you are part of a supportive, small team, belonging to our department Lab and Production Services (LPS), which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we’re looking for
Education: Completed Leaving Certificate or University Degree
Experience: Experience with generating Excel or BI-based reports and with data analysis/forecasting, ideally within logistics/inventory management
Preferred qualifications:
1. Ability to analyze data with the help of MS Excel (VBA, macros, etc.)
2. Know-how on BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is an advantage
3. Great communication skills
4. Ability to generate easy-to-digest reports
5. Understanding of logistics or inventory related data
6. Ability to commute 3 days a week at least to Dunboyne, Meath
How you will thrive and create an impact
7. Perform data analysis based on inventory consumption metrics, recommending actions based on insights.
8. Attend weekly face to face meetings with multiple customer stakeholders, reviewing usage and risk of material stock outs across all areas on site.
9. Lead process Inventory and Lab services projects and initiatives, analyzing existing processes and leading improvement initiatives based on data analysis to strengthen Avantor LPS current capabilities on customer site.
10. Generate and review detailed weekly expiry lookaheads, root causing batches approaching expiry and aligning agreed actions with customer, coordinating removal and system level actions to be completed within the on-site team.
11. Support predictive modelling geared towards providing early warnings of positive or negative trends in specific areas of our services.
12. Act as a liaison between the customer, Avantor LPS services and Avantor demand planning team.
13. Generate and review spend reports identifying and trending high cost materials being ordered to customer site.
