My Client is one of Ireland's leading Civil, Environmental and Structural Engineering Consultancies who have recently opened an office here in West Yorkshire.
They are an independently-owned firm, employing a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 people across their three offices.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will work on a diverse portfolio of projects, providing detailed design for various improvement schemes. Your responsibilities will include preparing contract drawings and documents, as well as performing detailed technical calculations and reports.
The scope of work is varied, including feasibility, preliminary, and detailed design for projects ranging from small estate access roads to multi-million pound schemes for Highways England.
As you progress, you will take on more project management responsibilities and assist in managing junior staff.
Person Specification:
You should be an experienced Senior Engineer with excellent knowledge of the DMRB. Experience delivering schemes for Highways England, understanding their policies and procedures, and familiarity with the Highways England Project Control Framework are essential.
Ideally, you will be a Chartered Engineer with strong technical expertise, good project management skills, and effective communication abilities to lead and collaborate with your team.
