The RME Global Talent Development (GTD), Learning Design and Innovations team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) specialist with a strong passion for ensuring high-quality educational programs. In this role, you will develop and execute on Quality Assurance processes for learning initiatives, ensuring that all educational content meets the highest standards of accuracy, usability, and effectiveness.
Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing strategic QA plans, reviewing and testing learning materials, and managing the quality of vendor-provided learning programs. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to build effective relationships and enhance the overall quality of the learning experience.
We are seeking a candidate who is a detailed quality advocate with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in managing quality on learning projects. You should be a proactive self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to process improvement, and the ability to handle ambiguity with flexibility. A strong background in quality assurance within the learning and development space is required.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Review and proofread learning materials for grammatical accuracy, language consistency, and overall quality.
2. Ensure content is clear, concise, and engaging for the intended audience.
3. Verify the accuracy of information and update any outdated or incorrect content.
4. Assess the logical flow and structure of learning materials to ensure they are coherent and easy to follow.
5. Provide constructive feedback to Instructional Designers on improving content organization and presentation.
6. Ensure all learning materials meet the company's standards and guidelines for instructional design.
7. Test the functionality of e-learning modules and other digital learning materials within the LMS.
8. Identify and report issues related to navigation, interactive elements, media playback, and overall usability.
9. Collaborate with instructional designers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve functionality issues.
10. Conduct thorough testing of new courses and updates within the LMS to ensure they perform correctly.
11. Validate that all links, attachments, and embedded content function as intended.
12. Work closely with the LMS administration team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of learning materials.
13. Maintain detailed records of all QA tests and findings.
14. Prepare and present QA reports, highlighting key issues and providing actionable recommendations.
15. Track and ensure the resolution of all identified issues before course launch.
16. Suggest and implement improvements to the QA processes to enhance the overall quality of learning materials.
17. Develop and maintain a schedule for regular course updates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Educated to a minimum of Undergraduate level, social sciences or a related subject.
2. Experience in checking documents for accuracy and spelling.
3. Confident using and learning new technology platforms, including MS Office suite and CMMS systems.
4. Experience in program or project management.
5. Able to evidence clear and effective communication across stakeholder and partner teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
2. Experience of proofreading, content checking and verifying documents for accuracy.
3. Prior experience in the e-learning space.
4. A passion for L&D and developing within the learning space.
