Dron & Dickson group are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment and cable supply. Based at six UK locations, we provide Wholesale, distribution, specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical, Marine and many other industries. Managed from our UK locations, our services operate within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure consistent delivery of customer service and to proactively contribute to the Engineering Service department strategy through personnel logistics processes and operations.
Objective: The primary objective of this role is to source, onboard and provide logistics co-ordination all appointed client operations within the Engineering department to achieve customer satisfaction inline with company strategy.

Core Alignment Responsibilities:

Resourcing and Recruitment Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all site-based recruitment campaigns from start to finish to meet the organization’s resource requirements.
* Recruit and secure fit-for-purpose talent through best practice sourcing and selection solutions.
* Proactively understand the organization's resource needs and create suitable talent pools and pipelines.
* Build meaningful relationships with technicians and collaborate to ensure resource requirements are understood and met.
* Source and engage technician candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and other attraction methods, maintaining cost efficiency.
* Ensure all candidate communications are timely, accurate, and professionally written.
* Maintain compliance with internal and external governance processes and assist with audits as required.
* Contribute to the achievement of Talent Acquisition KPIs and metrics.
* Maintain and update recruitment trackers for upcoming resource needs.
* Attend weekly planning and resource meetings, ensuring alignment with project timelines and staffing needs.
* Routinely update the recruitment database to ensure candidates are easily searchable and relevant lists are maintained.
* Address any limited technical discipline availability by proactively sourcing talent.
* Ensure all candidate data is maintained in accordance with data protection policies.
* Support recruitment events, including career fairs and company events.
Logistics Co-ordination
* Work closely with Project Coordinators and engineers to ensure efficient work scope and manpower status tracking.
* Communicate with client planning/logistic departments to ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Arrange travel and accommodation as required, ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
* Liaise with site personnel to provide accurate crew change details and information.
* Manage Contractor Logistics Process including IR35 compliance where applicable
* Ensure personnel and resources meet mobilisation requirements, adhering to all contractual and scope-related requirements.
* Track and monitor annual leave requests to ensure effective planning and staffing.
* Utilize Vantage software to ensure accurate tracking and updates of personnel availability.
Project Planning and Cost Control
* Identify cost-saving opportunities in recruitment and logistics processes without compromising quality or safety.
* Maximize personnel utilization through effective planning and tracking of personnel movements, availability, and commitments.
* Monitor the performance of logistics activities, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any challenges promptly.
Other
* To maintain good communications with internal and external clients
* To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes
* Ad hoc duties as requested by management
* Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.

* Participate in On Call Rotation
HSEQ Responsibilities:
* Participating in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support and responding to emergencies or urgent requests as required. Focal point for handing over information to personnel on call weekly.
* Comply with all Dron & Dickson’s integrated managements system including all policies and Procedures
* Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.

Core Skills and competencies:
* Proven experience in resourcing and/or logistics coordination within a technical or industrial sector
* Familiarity with IR35 compliance and contractor management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external clients.
* Knowledge of recruitment software and logistics management tools preferred (experience with Vantage is a plus).
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing demands.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Understanding of recruitment metrics and KPIs preferred, and a passion for continuous improvement.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours of work:
* Mon to Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm
* Fri: 8.30am – 4.30pm
