About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in a full-time, permanent position. As the Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Sales team and other departments, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office. The role provides the opportunity for career progression, with the potential to develop into an Office Manager position in the future. Your responsibilities will include managing office correspondence, assisting with Sage 50 accounting processes, and providing administrative support across various functions within the business. This is a busy and varied role that will allow you to gain experience across multiple areas of the business. Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: General Office Administration: Manage company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters, and packages Scheduling & Sales Support: Organise meetings, schedule appointments, and follow up on sales leads for the sales team Data Entry & Record Keeping: Update records and databases for the sales team, providing Finance team with information when required Inventory Management: Oversee office and factory supplies to ensure smooth operations Sage 50 Accounting: Raise customer invoices upon despatch Log customer receipts and match supplier invoices and delivery notes Reconcile supplier statements and perform bank reconciliation Run and submit VAT returns Assist in putting orders on the system and add invoices on Sage weekly Additional Duties: Small amount of credit control Update and post to social media and make changes to the company website Assist with spreadsheets/databases to support the sales team with marketing Assist with the quoting process by obtaining quotes from suppliers, adding mark-up, and sending quotes to customers Answer phone calls when required and assist with incoming queries on orders and invoices Manage quotes on spreadsheets and chase up outstanding quotes for the sales team Skills and Experience: Previous experience in an office administration role, ideally within a busy environment Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Sage 50 (or similar accounting software) Excellent time management skills and keen attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Outgoing and friendly attitude, with a team player mentality Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Application: If you're an enthusiastic and committed individual with office administration experience and a passion for providing excellent support, we want to hear from you Please apply with your most up-to-date CV.
