Psychologist Role at The Copse
We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our team at The Copse in Weston-Super-Mare, a rehabilitation recovery service for men and women with mental health problems. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and contribute to their recovery journey.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Lead Psychologist and be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic assessments, multidisciplinary team working, and risk assessments. Additionally, they will facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and design and deliver training programs.
About the Role
* Carry a caseload of service users, assessing complex needs and designing specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to treatment planning and decision-making.
* Undertake high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions.
* Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, using structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
Requirements
* BPS recognised psychology degrees.
* HCPC registration.
* Chartered Psychologist status and postgraduate qualifications.
* Approved supervisor within BPS guidelines.
* Evidence-based psychological practice experience.
* Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits.
* Previous research and project working experience.
