This small, community-focused school provides tailored education for students aged 11-18 with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting a wide range of additional needs. As a SEN Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students Provide a nurturing, structured learning environment to support students’ personal and academic development Work collaboratively with a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team, including therapists and support staff Foster strong relationships with parents, carers and external partners to ensure consistency and progress Utilise the school’s specialist facilities, including sensory rooms and therapy spaces, to support learning What we’re looking for: A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), experience in special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous Experience working with students with complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties and SEMH A creative, adaptable and compassionate approach to teaching Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, parents and external agencies A commitment to preparing students for life beyond school, with a focus on independence and employability Why join?
