Job summary Due to the recent promotion of the ward manager an exciting opportunity has arisen in Acute Medicine for a substantive ward manager to oversee the Acute Medical Unit. AMU comprises of 38 inpatient beds with the addition of an outpatient Same Day Emergency Care area. We are committed in the continuing in improving and adapting the ways in which we work to deliver the best care and services for our patient We are looking for a Ward Manger to provide leadership, motivation, enthusiasm and be a role model providing high standards of care and drive the nursing agenda with a keen interest in the care of the acute medical patient. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as you will be required to work closely with the senior and junior medical team alongside other professionals from the MDT. You should be an experienced senior nurse looking to progress your career in leadership.
