About the Role
The role of a senior practitioner is crucial to the children and families we work with as well as the team around you. You will be a part of the Team and work alongside another senior practitioner who is also part-time. The role involves managing a smaller caseload of children presenting complex needs, supporting PODS, developing new staff and newly qualified staff, and acting as a deputy to the team manager.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must have:
* A social work qualification (degree or equivalent)
* Experience of social work practice working with children and families.
* An understanding of Trauma-informed practice
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse information to reach decisions and manage performance.
* Evidence of supervising staff.
* Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks flexibly.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
