As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. As Receptionist, your priority will be to ensure the smooth running of the reception area through effective customer care whilst undertaking a variety of administrative clerical tasks as below:
Represent HICA in a professional and positive manner at all times
You will handle and process telephone enquiries from internal and external services whilst keeping a professional manner.
You will handle all incoming and outgoing mail; this includes collections and deliveries from the Post Office.
Ensure records for the home on the computerised management information system are maintained accurately maintaining confidentiality in line with HICA policies and procedures
Administer staff recruitment, payroll, financial systems of the home and associated documentation
Manage client record files ensuring that they are kept up-to-date
Type correspondence, take and produce meetings of meetings and provide general admin support to the manager
Treat all services users and families with respect, dignity and courtesy whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times
About you:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of reception duties. You will also be able to keep within deadlines and manage your workload appropriately. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. A good knowledge of Microsoft appliances. You will present a professional appearance.
