Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Dewsbury. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring they remain safe and efficient.
About the Role
This challenging role offers a competitive salary of £42,500 - £44,500, depending on experience, plus a 5% KPI bonus, company pension matched to 10%, and generous holiday allowance. Overtime is available, taking potential earnings to over £49,000.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and be able to lead a team of technicians to maintain and improve our facilities. This will include:
* Overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes
* Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
* Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard, adhering to quality control procedures
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to senior management
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in engineering or a related field
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment
