We are currently seeking:

We are seeking candidates who are either former engineers looking to get into sales, or candidates who have worked with bearings for an extensive amount of time, so as to be able to understand the technical aspects of our bearing products.
Job Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for growing existing accounts, developing new accounts and establishing strong contacts with customers. They initiate, and follow up on, new product development opportunities and growth opportunities to support the company. They should also have a technical background, or be able to understand the technical aspects, of our bearing products.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Strategically grow the market share in the account
* Maintaining credibility and trust in the account
* Ensuring contract terms are honored
* Recognize/see the opportunities where CW can bring more value
* Always be searching for the win-win opportunity
* Build relationships with customers and obtain information on their market trends and value points
* Spend time at customer sites developing relationships
* Translate Voice Of the Customer (VOC) input into CW road maps, engineering changes, and/or new project efforts
* Coordinate Customer Relationship Management software activities and Plant Sales Forecast and Actuals data for accurate planning and effective decision-making
* Establish and execute account plans based on short and long-term goals; Identify long-term business opportunities with the account(s), and include these in the account strategy
* Contribute to develop the sales plan, both strategically and tactically
* Monitor the account’s payment behavior and act to ensure payment within the agreed payment terms
* Work closely with global Key Account Manager and colleagues from other global regions
Required Skills & Abilities:
* Balance of commercial and technical know-how, skills and experience
* Proven ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external customers/contacts, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
* Excellent personal computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Must be able to travel; primarily domestic and occasionally internationally
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in science/technology and/or business-related field required
* Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing sales/account management required
* Engineering background strongly preferred
* Experience with bearings is strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:

Our manufacturing facility is a climate-controlled environment. There is no long-term exposure to dangerously loud noise or extreme temperatures.

Cognitive abilities include executing tasks independently; learning and/or memorizing tasks; maintaining concentration/focus on tasks; working with/in close proximity to, other people.
All hourly team members are expected to report to work and be ready to work at their scheduled start time. It is required that they adhere to and follow the attendance policy(ies).
All salaried team members are expected to perform their duties/responsibilities in a timely manner. Although they may not have set schedules, they are expected to either be at work on a schedule agreed upon by their manager or be available via phone/text/Teams if working remotely (Remote work does not apply to CWM positions).
