Job Title: GCSE Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: 1. Provide one-to-one tutoring sessions to students preparing for their GCSE exams. 2. Develop customised learning plans based on the individual needs of each student. 3. Help students improve their understanding of key subjects, such as Maths, English, and Science. 4. Monitor and assess student progress regularly to identify areas for improvement. 5. Assist students in exam preparation, including practise tests and revision techniques. Required Qualifications: - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential. - Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects. Knowledge and Skills: - Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit the individual learning styles of students. - Good time management and organisational skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field. Working Conditions: - Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions. - Work may involve evenings and weekends to accommodate students' availability. - Tutoring sessions may take place at the student's home or a designated tutoring centre.
