If you have significant sales experience in the washroom, sustainability or hygiene markets, we would love to talk to you about our plans to double revenues in the next 3 years.
We offer market-leading in-house training and mentorship with an outstanding range of products to sell, along with an unrivalled level of professional service to keep clients happy.
If you have the right attitude and experience, we can give you the platform to take your career to the next level.
Company
At HSG in Derby, we help our clients save water, CO2 and money in their washrooms. With 1,000 clients across the UK, including Tesco, Rolls Royce, Pizza Hut and the NEC plus a Queen’s Award-winning product and a clutch of business awards, we are well-positioned to hit our ambitious growth targets by 2027.
Role
Based in our Derby office Monday to Friday, your role will involve contacting companies across the UK to introduce our washroom products and services. Through your own contacts and market knowledge as well as online research, outbound calling, face-to-face meetings and presentations, you will be expected to open new lines of business in our target markets.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: research, call, meet, propose, negotiate and close. You will also be expected to manage your accounts proactively to grow spend.
With full support from senior management, we will give you the opportunity to grow your own client base and build yourself into a critical member of our growing team.
Person
Knowledge: Ideally, you will have 5+ years’ sales experience in our market or one that is closely related selling to the same kind of buyers. You should have a focus on new business generation rather than account management though a combination of the two will be welcome. You know how to set daily and weekly targets for yourself and monitor success.
Attitude: You should be driven to succeed, very hard-working and extremely tenacious – quitters should not apply! You should be enthusiastic about work, coming to the office each day with a smile, a kind word and the energy to make things happen.
Skills: Good telesales and face-to-face sales skills with a professional tone of voice along with practised organisational skills to track conversations and follow-up calls. Excellent spoken and written English is essential. You need a full clean driving licence and should be happy to drive to meet clients. Strong IT skills, preferably with experience of a sales CRM, are also required.
Habits: Well-organised and hard-working, you should be happy to work independently to drive sales forward (though you’ll be given plenty of support too!).
