Job summary Part Time - 30 Hours The Band 6 Sister / Charge nurse in Community nursing is a key member of the divisional senior nursing and leadership team, responsible for providing the very best care to patients within the community and home, wherever that may be. In addition you will lead a team of nurses and other key members of the care team contributing to the development and delivery of clinical nursing care, maintaining and improving professional standards and the development of nursing standards within your area of practice. Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity to join the Integrated Community Services Division, in a senior nursing role as a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse with the Treatment Room Team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse you and your team will work in line with agreed objectives and quality standards which will then contribute to delivering high quality, safe and effective patient services within the Treatment Room Service. What are we looking for from you: First and foremost we are looking for someone with some experience in a nursing leadership role, ideally with community nursing experience. We also want to work with someone who always puts the patient at the heart of every decision and discussion. These roles require individuals with passion, commitment, excellent communication skills, team work, vision and the desire to drive standards in order to ensure patient safety remains a top priority. The role is a mixture of clinical and operational leadership, the service operatorates over 9 sites across Bolton.
