Learning PartnerContract: 22 April 2025 fixed term until 31 August 2025Hours: 32 hours 30 minutes, five days per week.Grade: JG4 (£25,584 - £27,269)Actual Salary: £19,738.75 - £21,038.77 per annum The RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Partner to join our friendly team here at Whitchurch Primary School.In liaison with the Qualified Teacher of Visually Impaired and the Class Teacher, you will provide educational support for a child who is blind. You will implement specific programmes of work developed in liaison with Class Teacher and QTVI by adapting resources and activities to meet agreed outcomes. You will be able to adapt and produce and maintain tactile resources used by blind children. You will promote braille learning. Prior knowledge and experience of working with the blind is desirable but full training will be available.
