This is an internal-only opportunity open to colleagues currently working in Financial Assistance. This is a full-time position working rotational shifts between 8am - 8pm Monday- Friday and Saturdays 9am - 5.30pm & occasional bank holidays. You will be expected to attend the office 10 days within a monthly period.
About the role:
The Financial Assistance MI and Insights Analyst is responsible for reviewing Financial Assistance data daily and identifying emerging issues. Using customer and colleague insights from a range of sources, you will identify improvement opportunities to improve customer outcomes and inform decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Data Collection, Analysis & Insights Reporting (both regular and ad-hoc) to provide insights into performance, trends and key metrics across the function in a range of formats suited to a variety of stakeholders to inform strategic decision making.
* Identify opportunities to optimise collections strategies and processes through data-driven insights.
* Collaborate with all Financial Assistance teams to implement process improvements and monitor their impact.
* Work closely with the Financial Assistance teams to understand their information needs and provide tailored insights.
* Ensure all data handling and reporting activities comply with relevant regulations, such as GDPR, and internal data governance policies.
* Identify and report any data quality or compliance issues.

* Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Proficiency in data handling tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
* Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
* Understanding of collections processes, financial data, and related metrics.
