The Project Manager will manage specific projects as delegated across the organisation in collaboration with colleagues and partners. The post holder will be expected to lead, deliver and manage projects autonomously within the delegated parameters. Formulate, implement and monitor progress of the projects. May supervise project staff. Responsible for training staff at all levels.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 5 months to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
1. Plan and organise a range of complex activities in support of service redesign, for example developing and monitoring detailed project plans with teams, at organisation wide level and with partners.
2. Develop governance arrangements for the project.
3. Identify risks and develop contingency plans as and when necessary.
4. Keep the Project Board informed of progress through the preparation of Highlight and End Stage Assessment Reports and ensure they are aware of progress and risks escalating as appropriate.
5. Ensure risks and issues are monitored and managed through the development of risk and issues logs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

4. Analysis and interpretation of complex information is critical to this role. The post holder will develop an overview and improvement plans on the basis of the analysis undertaken.
5. Identify and understand the needs of stakeholders and provide sound judgement and diplomatic skills, using excellent influencing, persuading and negotiation skills and change management to ensure the development and delivery of the project.
