Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a background in avionics, electromechanical systems or similar looking to step into one of the industry's leading names? In this role, you will work as part of an engineering team that will invest in training and upskilling you, working on a range of cutting-edge machinery that will help train the pilots of the future.
On offer is the opportunity to work at a company on the cutting edge of simulation technology. This company has 4 simulation machines and has trained numerous pilots over the years. They provide their staff support and maintain an open line of communication between management and their engineers.
In this role, you will be diagnosing issues and carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators under the supervision of a more experienced simulator specialist. You will also perform secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections regularly. Furthermore, you will be responsible for logistical duties, including parts received, repair, testing/validation, and administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.
The Role:
1. Maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators to ensure peak performance.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
3. Installing and integrating new technology and software updates.
4. Conducting regular system tests and preventative maintenance.
The Person:
1. Experience in electromechanical systems.
2. Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software integration.
3. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
