JOB - Quality Manager
LOCATION - Oxfordshire
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000-£60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client are specialists in the design and manufacture a range of products using a variety of processes for various industries in the Oxfordshire area. The successful candidate will have a strong precision engineering background and be highly competent with GD&T. The company will also consider Quality Engineers looking to step up and develop into a management role.
The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
1. Engineering background - preferably HNC qualified or equivalent work-based experience
2. Precision machining environment background
3. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
4. Highly competent with GD&T
5. Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard
6. Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures
7. Experienced with using CMM
8. Good problem-solving skills with use of RCA tools
9. Innovative, creative and good leadership qualities
The Quality Manager role will involve:
1. Developing and managing the QMS in relation to ISO9001
2. Leading Continuous Improvement
3. Training and mentoring staff within the quality department
4. Streamlining quality processes and procedures
5. Liaising with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
6. Attending staff meetings
7. Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
8. Conducting internal audits
