Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Agricultural Liaison Officer to join our Infrastructure team. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the construction of projects located in and around Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. You’ll be based out of either Lincoln, Peterborough, or Northampton office, and your focus will be in the following areas:
* Liaise with third party stakeholders on behalf of client regarding land and land drainage matters e.g. landowners & tenant farmers.
* Arrange and undertake pre-entry records of condition of fields including identification of existing drainage issues.
* Ensure contractors are aware of pre-entry notice provisions and adhere to them, managing agreements with landowners in conjunction with client Lands team.
* Discuss accommodation works with landowners - e.g. water troughs for stock, accesses, water supplies, fencing etc.
* Assist the project team in discussions with grantors, including installation, maintenance, and removal.
* Keep landowners advised about construction matters and project requirements.
* Interpret construction drawings relative to land rights mapping.
* Assist the construction team in all matters regarding land access.
* Assist the project team with boundary removal and reinstatement specifications.
* Review, negotiate, and settle claims for losses and damages.
* Regular reporting to the client on progress, forecasting, expenditure, and risks, followed by solutions and recommendations.

Team Overview
The Infrastructure Projects team is a single department covering the whole of the UK. It consists of over 100 staff located throughout the country at entry level to those with over 30 years’ experience. We specialise in Infrastructure and Utilities clients and projects and are passionate about the high levels of service and collaborative working with our clients.
Due to the current general salary threshold requirement for this role, Savills is unable to provide skilled worker visa sponsorship.
