We're looking for a Night Shift Senior Service Engineer to join our depot in East London. Working alongside the Night Shift Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of this busy workshop in order to maintain our service fleet and meet customer requirements.
The Night shift is Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am with one hour of breaks on each shift.

Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the Night Shift Workshop Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of this busy workshop.
2. Ensure 100% coverage for the servicing and maintenance of our modern hire fleet.
3. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of each machine at the depot as required.
4. Produce monthly plant inspection reports and service schedule and organise workload of engineers to ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies.
5. Maintain the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
6. Follow the guidelines set out in the Quality and Health and Safety policy.
7. Identify training and development needs of the team.
8. Support depot engineers with technical help and advice.
About you:
1. Supervisory experience in running a busy workshop and supervising engineering staff. Rental experience strongly preferred.
2. A relevant general maintenance qualification to level 3.
3. The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
4. Previous experience in Powered Access Industry preferred but is not essential.
5. Experience in Mechanical and Electro/hydraulic systems is desired.
6. Good interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
