For a Legal Secretary to join our Private Wealth team in Tunbridge Wells (Hybrid)
In this role, you will be working with our estates team, supporting six fee earners, all providing probate support to our clients. The position would see you undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Phone calls to clients to confirm bank details
2. Phone calls to external companies (HMRC, probate, banks, etc)
3. Preparing letters of authority
4. Completing closure forms
5. Cashing in forms
6. Conducting bankruptcy searches
7. Land registry tasks
8. Searching for and requesting documents in the archive
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience supporting multiple fee earners concurrently, have excellent organisational skills, and possess the ability to prioritise and organise your workload while working as part of a busy team.
You'll spend at least 60% of your working week in the office, though we know there is no one-size-fits-all and arrangements may vary from role to role.
