Key Responsibilities
The Practice Manager will be responsible for improving business operations and identifying opportunities for enhancing processes and procedures through quick decision-making and action. Through a collaborative approach, the Practice Manager will partner with team leaders to improve workflows across all departments. They will play a pivotal role in aligning diverse team needs and delivering positive outcomes.
Skills, Experience and Values We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience as a Practice or Operations Manager, preferably within the veterinary, healthcare, or related sector.
2. A proven track record of streamlining operations, managing complex stakeholder dynamics, and driving improvements that balance staff well-being with client satisfaction.
3. A clearly defined set of values that drive your motivation and productivity, combined with a growth mindset.
4. A good level of financial acumen in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Demonstrated ability in team leadership and management, with a clear leadership style that fosters collaboration, communication, and outcomes.
6. Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with a laser focus on details and compliance.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team leaders, team members, clients, and our suppliers and partners.
8. A high level of proficiency in a range of office management software (i.e. MS Office Suite) and the ability to quickly learn new software, such as veterinary software.
