Who You Are We are seeking a dedicated team of Outreach Family Support Workers to join a pilot project in Liverpool Early Help. You should possess an NVQ Level 3 in child care and education, NND, or a Health and Social Care qualification. You have experience in direct work with children, young people, and their families, with a proven track record of effective collaborative and multi-agency working. You communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms and can maintain accurate records. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team across various services is essential. Additionally, a full UK driving licence and access to a car and laptop are required. What the job involves This role involves delivering outreach and home-based support to children and families, addressing areas of identified need. You will work closely with Health, Education, Children's Centres, and School’s Family Support Service to support parents in meeting their children's needs. Flexibility in supporting the overall operation of the Service is essential. You will also be collaborating with parents and professionals, applying your knowledge of child development and child protection issues, and delivering practical parenting strategies.
