Founded in 2017, we work across multiple sectors, providing services to reduce the risks deemed most impactful to our clients. To date, we have worked in a variety of roles at some of the UK’s most iconic music and sporting events, for government organisations and major UK PLCs.
Our Monitoring and Response (M&R) department provides clients with innovative and tailored CCTV monitoring and incident response services to proactively detect and respond to threats 24/7.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our M&R department. This person will manage key client accounts, be responsible for site proposals and installations, and run our UK wide incident response services. They will support the Pathway senior leadership and must have the experience and ability to manage multiple administrative and operational challenges simultaneously.
This is a hybrid role that will require time in our Cotswolds office, work from home where appropriate, and travel across the UK conducting site visits and security response tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Site Acquisition and Installation:
o Conduct initial site surveys and prepare site specific technical surveillance plans for proposals.
o Manage installation and equipment quotes, organising all third-party contractors in preparation for CCTV Installations.
o Manage key accounts throughout the acquisition and installation phase.
o Own the technical equipment inventory.
o Deliver site kick off meetings, briefing the client on camera locations, technical systems, monitoring software and response protocols.
2. Monitoring and Response:
o Lead on all monitoring software and technical surveillance platforms.
o Become the key contact for all onsite issues and intruder alarms.
o Manage all alarms received from the ARC.
o Deploy and manage incident response teams if required.
o Liaise with all client stakeholders during an emergency or site issue.
o Deliver all incident reports.
3. Other Roles:
o Own the research and development of new technical platforms and operating procedures.
o Support Business development and lead generation.
o Establish our an in house monitoring station, and M&R operations cell.
o Expand and manage the M&R department.
o The M&R operations manager will sometimes be expected to support other Pathway departments and operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* English as first language, proficient in giving verbal and written briefings.
* Experience in the management of multiple business operations.
* High-level of skill in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Exceptional communications and inter-personal skills.
* Ability to work independently and often self-directed.
* Demonstrate an ability to prioritise time sensitive issues.
* Experience in the design of technical security systems.
* Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV.
* Understanding of British Standards (BS EN 62676) for CCTV systems.
* Level 2 / 3 Diploma in Electronic Security & Emergency Systems, or similar.
* Electrotechnical Certification Scheme Cardholder.
* Knowledge of IP Infrastructure and protocols.
* Ability to install and terminate AV and CCTV systems.
* Familiarity with UK security operations.
* UK Military or Police Background.
