Assistant accountant
We are delighted to be partnering with this family-run property investment company located in Altrincham in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.
Established over 35 years ago the business is a family owned SME consisting mainly of property and construction management. On a growth trajectory, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant accountant to support the business through its next phase of growth.
This role will be a huge appeal for someone wanting exposure to the whole finance function. In addition, you will be given the opportunity of updating and implementing the business's finance procedures and making process improvements.
Taking the accounts to trial balance stage you will support with:
1. Pulling together management and financial accounts
2. Invoice processing
3. Processing expense requests
4. Credit control
5. Cash book maintenance
6. Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Raising sales invoices
9. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
10. Finance administration
11. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
YOU:
12. Previous experience gained within finance
13. A good understanding of management accounts responsibilities
14. Effective communicator and ability to engage at all levels
15. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
16. Strong excel skills, personable & professional
