About the Role: As a Design Engineer in our Digital Engineering Team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize designs using advanced digital tools. You will be responsible for creating 3D models, running simulations, and ensuring designs meet both performance and quality standards. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise and creativity to real-world challenges while collaborating on innovative, high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities: • Develop Digital Designs: Create 3D models, detailed technical drawings, and design documentation using BIM and digital engineering tools. • Simulations & Analysis: Perform simulations (e.g., IES) to validate and improve design performance. • Collaboration: Work closely with internal colleagues and external clients to ensure designs meet all technical and performance requirements. • Innovation: Identify and implement design improvements, staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in mechanical building services engineering. • Project Support: Provide technical support and updates on project milestones, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget and attending Client meetings where required. • Review third Party Designs: for buildability and value management to ensure Projects can be constructed within Budget • Manage third party Design Consultants: where the Design has been carried out by others, appointed to FES, to manage programme and delivery.
