As a Finance Assistant, you will:
1. Lead the purchase order approval process and assist with goods receipting.
2. Resolve purchase order queries.
3. Collaborate with department heads to monitor cost controls.
4. Build strong relationships with internal customers.
5. Understand cash flow implications and work closely with the accountant.
6. Accurately code responsibilities and maintain SOX compliance.
7. Prepare monthly SOX audit data and support annual statutory audits.
8. Participate in stock takes and provide general administrative support.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience in administrative or finance roles, ideally in a purchase ledger environment.
2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
3. Excellent communication skills to foster productive relationships.
4. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software.
6. Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes.
7. Experience in the manufacturing sector.
Skills:
1. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
