I am representing an established organisation in the Greater Belfast area, seeking to hire an Accounting Technician to join their close-knit team. This company boasts an excellent culture and low staff turnover, offering a highly supportive and collaborative work environment.
Your new role
As a key member of our finance team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Processing sales and purchase ledgers
2. Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
3. Managing credit control
4. Performing bank reconciliations
5. Processing bank payments and short-term cash forecasting
6. Supporting the preparation of management accounts
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this position, candidates should ideally be a Qualified Accounting Technician working towards full membership of a recognised accountancy body such as ACCA/CIMA etc. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a busy accounts/office environment with the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate experience meeting deadlines.
