Our client is a small but long-established Architectural firm who are seeking to appoint an Architectural Assistant who ideally has some CAD experience. The role will involve interpreting client briefs and the production of working drawings and technical documents while complying to the latest legislation. The opportunity is there to develop and gain wider experience and knowledge. The Role: Primary responsibility will involve translating the design concepts created by architects into detailed technical drawings and specifications that can be used for construction Completing surveys and drawing up both planning and building warrant packages using CAD Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders Ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications Oversee the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets Present technical information and provide clarification to clients when necessary The Person: Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant Proficiency in CAD (Revit cross training provided) Knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) and NDDS Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend. This opportunity would suit an individual who has recently qualified or has CAD experience. Our client operates as a small business with projects in both residential and commercial sector.
