Purpose of the role We are looking for a Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to come and join the team on a 1 year contract. This role will provide value added finance business partnering support to senior management across several functions. The Finance Business Partner is a key role in working alongside these business areas, influencing strategic and operational decision making and providing insights that drive better business performance. This role will be responsible for: Taking a lead in engaging, partnering and building relationships with the Business Services leads, colleagues and other stakeholders as necessary. Providing value-added financial insight and support, driving continuous improvement in business performance. Providing constructive challenge to business plans and performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and proactively supporting function leads to find solutions. Providing clear advice on financial management and strategy to ensure informed decisions can be made. Manage and mentor junior FBPs, with 2 direct reports. Work with operational finance to deliver insight through continuous improvements in planning, reporting and detailed performance analysis. Working with function leads and teams to agree financials forecasts and plans, understand changes in them and explain these to a senior finance and non-finance stakeholders. Collaborating with other finance business partners and finance teams across Collinson to build a finance community that delivers effective and value-added support to the business. Providing effective challenge on spend and costs to ensure Collinson maximizes return on investment, creates value for money and eliminates waste. Fully engaged in tendering and supplier renewals to ensure best outcome for Collinson. Supporting various business initiatives and projects as required. Providing ad-hoc analytical support to function leads as required. Key Responsibilities Monthly business and executive reporting Budgeting, forecasting and business planning process Internal analysis and cost management (including recharges) Business analysis and decision support Risk and opportunity management Staff management – direct report and dotted line team members Business case and investment management Product, project and initiative financial modelling Knowledge, skills & experience required CIMA qualification required (ACA/ACCA acceptable) Experience in a similar group level role, ideally at a complex multinational matrix corporation Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills up to C Suite Level stakeholders. Ability to interpret data, analyse using appropriate tools, and present in a clear and concise form. Collaborative and persuasive manner. Understanding of risk, working with ambiguity and able to form and support opinions Commercially aware, understanding the needs of operations, finance and management.
