Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance to both plant, equipment and building services. Role Summary: · Delivery of compliance and reactive services in accordance with CBRE Managed Services, Procedures and Policies · Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the airports M&E Plant, equipment, and services. · Ensure compliance with and updating records for CBRE Managed Services ISO 9001/14001 etc and all Quality Management Systems. · Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares and issues, improving performance of plant and services along with improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program. Using equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain plant PPM's. Fault finding on all types of plant and services around the airport infrastructure. Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety. Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the facilities maintenance department working on the airport's infrastructure and services. Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately. Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation. Work on single and three phase systems with voltages up to 440V as per CBRE and BS7671 guidelines. Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the System Insight reporting system and CAFM maintenance system. Use of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently. Liaise with onsite site services to manage any building services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required. To be a responsible person, when required, for the department and deputise the Technical Supervisor / Maintenance Engineers during annual leave or sickness. To work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be given. To partake in a callout rota to provide cover to the client's services out of hours Perform adhoc duties as and when required. Following security clearance, Controlled Access courses and onsite driving, escort subcontractors etc. to carry out PPM, quoted works and reactive callouts as required. Short notice may be given for these actions. Liaise with Contracts Manager, Technical Supervisor and Maintenance engineers to carry out all works as required on the CAL infrastructure and deliver CBRE services as per our contractual obligations. Undergo ongoing CBRE training as required to deliver safe systems of work and build on employee potential.Experience Required: A recognised or time served apprenticeship. Strong proven experience in FM maintenance. Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2/NVQ L3 to the 18th Edition of BS7671. Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's mechanical/plumbing. Water Regulations and G3 is desired. Good multi skilled ability. Experience working on 3 phase motors, drives and inverters desirable. Ability to fault find, diagnose, and carry out repairs on a variety of equipment. Ability to supervise contractors. Able to write and understand Risk and Method Statements. Able to understand and write access permits and permits to work. Knowledge of lone working requirements. Desirable: Working at Height Qualification IPAF AP Qualifications Experience of commercial electrical and mechanical engineering. Aptitudes and Character: · Good verbal communication skills at all levels, · Good written English skills, · Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a buildings operation and services. · Able to communicate effectively with the client and represent and promote CBRE. · Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. · The ability to liaise directly with client and all managers and action their requirements to agreed standards. · Ability to develop strong productive relationships with CBRE Colleagues, Client team and Suppliers alike
