Job description The NQP will work as part of an ambulance crew for the assessment, care, treatment and transportation of emergency, urgent and routine calls; providing advanced clinical interventions, including drug therapies at scene and may administer medication within PGD guidelines. They will undertake emergency blue light driving and will work in a variety of locations including; ambulance/rapid response vehicles, patients homes, primary care settings and accident and emergency care departments. Qualifications Essential Paramedic Science Degree HCPC registration Hold a valid EU Driving License (No more than 3 endorsement points) All mandatory and statutory training up to date Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
