Overview; This is care for young people who present with emotional, behavioural & other complex needs
Due to ongoing company development we are looking for committed, compassionate, active individuals to make a difference to the lives of young people.
Day to Day:
* Working alongside staff teams, provide a high standard of care for the Young People in your care.
* Ensure Young People are monitored and protected
* To assist in the motivation of Young People to take an active part in decision making and be involved in the design and delivery of the service they receive.
* To ensure record keeping and administration responsibilities of the team are met, including care plans, risk assessments etc.
* To ensure high standards of safe working practices at all times.
* Utilizing outdoor activities as a therapeutic approach to supporting the young people in our care.
* Ability to function in high level anxiety situations.
Requirements;-
* Full UK Driving License.
* Ability to work shift patterns and sleep ins. Shifts can be subject to rota change to meet the needs of the home.
* NVQ L3 RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE
* To work as part of a team and use own initiative when required.
Job will be based in Hereford
