As AMO (Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul) Electronic Technician, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations across the UK and within Europe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.
As an Electronic Technician, you are responsible for:
1. Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
2. Configuring test stations and systems.
3. Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshooting equipment problems.
4. Assisting in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups.
5. Testing and evaluating the performance and, if required, repairing general-purpose test equipment.
6. Diagnosing instruments, performing analytical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic systems.
7. Developing, testing, and debugging firmware for Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP systems.
8. Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
9. Developing specifications, process studies, research investigations, and report preparation.
10. Providing technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers as required.
11. Providing technical leadership in developing solutions and/or devising new approaches to problems encountered.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
1. Have proven experience working as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Technician.
2. Have a diploma or Associate's degree in the electrical field.
3. Have ATEX certification.
4. Have good working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase AC power distribution systems.
