About the role
Join our innovative team as we embark on an exciting Finance Transformation Project, implementing Finance Fusion in Oracle Cloud. We have already implemented Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) several years ago and subsequently implemented several additional modules such as Benefits, Compensation, and Performance Management.
We are seeking a self-starter who is keen to learn and can work on their own initiative, with minimal supervision, to join our innovative and successful team. As a detail-oriented Analyst, you'll be a quick learner, have great problem-solving skills, and be keen to learn new technologies. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Finance Transformation Project, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud Fusion.
As a Finance systems analyst, you will be responsible for designing, building, and running front/back-end software solutions in an agile HR/Finance delivery squad. This role is hands-on, and you’ll be actively involved in designing, implementing, and running the Finance products and services in your squad, predominantly Oracle HCM/Fusion. You’ll work very closely with the Finance function to ensure the smooth running of the Finance function and resolve issues as they arise. This role within the Squad will focus more on day-to-day BAU support activities required to ensure the smooth running of the Finance function. Production and distribution of several key weekly/monthly KPI reports will be a key task for this role.
Scope of Role
Nature and Area of impact:
* Full Software Development Life Cycle, including coding practices, frameworks, tech debt, and operations for all engineering activities within FIN-HR squad.
* Assist in the tasks required for Implementation & Support of additional modules and functionality in Oracle HCM/Fusion cloud, such as data gathering & reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with Tech/Senior Tech Specialists & Tech Leads in your Squad to enhance & support Finance Systems.
* Work with business to exploit functionality & maximize benefits of the Application suite.
* Become SME for the Cloud reporting solution, OTBI, being the go-to person for all reporting queries & new report requests.
* Support the development of new processes and procedures as well as supporting colleagues through change processes.
* Production of Weekly and monthly KPIs for senior Finance stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Foundational understanding of building, integrating, maintaining, and managing software architectures in Oracle cloud environments.
* Providing an escalation point for our product support teams in troubleshooting hosted application issues.
* Supporting the internal business IT needs with a focus on automation and empowerment.
* A clear communicator.
* Strong collaboration ethos.
* A desire to question, understand, learn, and apply new information to your work.
