- £60,000 | Essex | Main Contractor | Permanent We are on the hunt for a Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive to join a superb small to medium main contractor in Essex.
This is a newly created role to help bolster the business in 2025.
Currently, work is flowing nicely and word of mouth referrals are strong, but their growth plans require somebody dedicated to Business Development to ensure the company continues to flourish and thrive.
What will you be getting up to? Relationship building with Surveyors, Investors, Real Estate Clients, Agents and Building Managers Proactive outreach to generate business including phone calls, social media engagement (predominantly LinkedIn), face to face meetings and presentations Help to develop and expand brand presence across the business and into the wider market Play a role in how the business markets and presents itself online and in tender submissions Ultimately, the Business Development Manager / Executive will be expected to drive sales and bring new opportunities to the company.
And in return? This is quite a unique opportunity in that whoever takes this role on will have the opportunity to lead and grow the business development function within the business and play a key role in helping them to grow and expand.
If things go as expected, we would expect to see a team build beneath the post holder.
