Job Spec Job Title: Coking Plant ShiftMechanical Fitter Ref No: 2022 - 20025 Project: Phillips66 Refinery Duration: On going Start Date: ASAP Worley is currently recruiting for a Coking Plant ShiftMechanical Fitter for a fixed term contract. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team at Phillip66 Refinery. Key Aims And Objectives Assist in ensuring all Projects / Company HSEQ goals are achieved and where possible exceeded Effective liaison with any Client and / or Sub-Contractor / Vendor Representatives Implement a continuous improvement philosophy across all Mechanical activities, delivering best practices at all times Provide support to the Client’s Mechanical Team Primary Duties Un-heading and Heading up the coke drums Assist with Coke Drum drilling and routine operations on the drilling deck if / when required To carry out routines (Equipment Operating & Maintenance Plans - EOMPS) on the coke drum equipment Jet cleaning coke drum bottom heads if / when required General area housekeeping as directed by the Coke Drum Controller Coke Drum maintenance Demonstrate visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams Actively participate in all Company and Projects safety initiatives Continuously review / refer to Client’s working procedures and risk assessments to ensure that they are being executed as required. Escalate any identified concerns to P66 Ensure that all Mechanical work is to the required standard and that all drawings, specifications, inspections and certifications and Company systems of quality assurance are strictly adhered to Perform tool checks to ensure all tooling is in good working condition prior to its use Actively participate and lead tool-box-talks when required Liaise with site Control of Work personnel to ensure daily work permits are issued and any issues are resolved Essential Candidates should hold the following Qualifications & Certification: NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent) Experience within Heavy Industry Desirable Performing Authority experience Manual Handling MJI10 / HEX Bolted Connection Techniques Machinery / pipework alignment and installation Preventative maintenance Ideally, Candidates Will Also Have The Following Experience Demonstrate experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times Knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures Experienced in team working Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels Knowledge of Permit to Work systems The employee will be expected to work in accordance with the Humber Refinery 24/7 12hr shift pattern.
