Our clients range from property developers, investors, and lenders to utility companies and public and third-sector organisations such as schools and health-sector bodies.
We now want to appoint an experienced solicitor to our busy Leeds team.
Whether you join us as an Associate or a Director, we expect you to support our partners in their management of the firm and to demonstrate and uphold our values.
What we’re looking for
1. You must have a breadth of knowledge and experience in real estate work, which should include dealing with complex matters such as all aspects of asset management, including agreements for leases, leases and surrenders, as well as development (commercial and residential) and investment (acting for individuals and institutional landlords).
2. You will need a positive profile with clients and be able to demonstrate good commercial awareness of their sector(s) and the market in which they operate.
3. We expect that you will likely have at least 5+ years of PQE and be keen to progress your career with a team of forward-thinking and commercial group of lawyers.
4. You must have a collaborative and flexible working style, as well as experience and a keen interest in developing others working at a more junior level.
5. With proven organisational skills, you will also need to demonstrate an approachable, friendly and open style of working.
6. This means you must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to reflect a reassuring manner to our clients.
This role falls within our hybrid working arrangements, which incorporate elements of working from home combined with office-based working.
