Electrician Traffic Signal Technician 37 hours per week Mon- Fri £18.26 Sat and Sun £27.39 Nights Mon – Fri £24.29 Nights Sat – Sun £32.87 Job Description Electrician Traffic Signal Technician Staff required with electrical qualification to work in our Traffic Signals department. In house training for specific equipment will be provided. Candidate will be expected to undertake operations involved with the installation, replacement, inspection and maintenance of electronic, electrical and mechanical devices and mechanisms associated with traffic signals and other equipment controlling the movement of vehicles and pedestrians with little or no supervision. Annual inspections, including preventative maintenance works. Identification of operational problems and liaison with Traffic Signal Manager / Supervisor. Comply with all H&S requirements. Be responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork in accordance with departmental requirements. Investigate notified signal faults wherever they occur in the region and take appropriate action to resolve to normal working order.
