About Float
We specialise in connecting people with what’s possible using visual creative tools to help them realise their concepts. Winners of the 2022,2023 & 2024 Scottish Design Awards for Visualisation, we are the leading architectural 3D visualisation studio in Scotland and visualise all things from architectural designs and international masterplan concepts to commercial property, luxury interiors and landscape design.
About the role
In this hands-on role, you'll be central to daily operations and the overall growth and success of Float. As studio manager, you will be the go-between for clients and design teams to deliver high-quality visualisation projects on time, and budget. You’ll work in-house in our studio on Bath Street and the expected salary is negotiable, but circa. £30,000 to £45,000 DOE.
You will:
* Liaise with visualisation artists and subcontractors to assist in managing projects from initial concept to completion
* Liaise with clients to understand business and project needs
* Organise weekly meetings to track and monitor project milestones
* Work with the creative director to assess client briefs and assign artists to a project
* Create and implement monthly deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery
Your role will also include supporting the management and sales teams in the general running of Float.
You will:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio.
* Gather, track and present data on business performance and against KPIs
* Work with Senior management to improve business efficiencies
Requirements:
* Proven track record in a similar role
* Great organisation skills, a methodical approach and a strong eye for detail
* A motivator with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Confident liaising with stakeholders, making decisions where necessary and escalating problems or project blockers
* A love for solving problems and dealing with challenges and changes
* Confident negotiator with an appetite to learn
* Understanding of the visualisation process across media including packaging
* An existing network of freelancers/agencies/production partners would be advantageous
