Specialist Teaching Assistant

A lovely school in Reading are on the hunt for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time basis starting as soon as possible.
A day in the life of a Specialist Teaching Assistant:
* You will have the opportunity to provide 1 on 1 or small group support to children who are having difficulties with their learning.
* These difficulties come in the form of ASD, Asperger's, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dyslexia, Language difficulties and speech impediments.
* You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of these children by being there to support them with their academic and personal goals.
* You will be supported by the class teacher and be able to soak in all the knowledge and advice they can offer!
* You will help with general day to day running's of the classroom - this will include clearing up after lessons, helping prepare for lessons and provide general supervision over the classroom.
* You will also have the opportunity of being surrounded by a wonderful multidisciplinary team and be exposed to various techniques and therapies.
